Job Description

On behalf of National Savings & Investments, we are looking for a Programme Finance Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract based out of London, Lytham St Anne, Glasgow or Durham..

As a Programme Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will be:



Financial Process Management: Oversee and manage financial processes within a complex transformation programme. Data Conversion & Reporting: Retrieve raw financial data from programme managers, convert it into management information, and present findings to senior stakeholders (e.g., Non-Executive Directors, Transformation SRO, Delivery Directors). Forecasting & Supplier Management: Perform financial forecasting for Statements of Work (SoWs) across multiple suppliers and report back to the central Finance function. Stakeholder Communication: Ensure financial insights are communicated clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Process Implementation: Implement relevant financial processes to support programme delivery within a programme management office

Essential:

Proven ability to act as a key liaison between multiple teams, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in pivot tables, pivot charts, and data visualization through standard graphs. Strong experience with Power BI, demonstrating the ability to integrate and analyze data from diverse sources to produce actionable insights. Ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, understanding and translating their requirements into practical solutions Demonstrated involvement in digital transformation or change programs, showcasing adaptability and contribution to process improvement initiatives. You must be a qualified/part qualified accountant
