The Role:
The Engineering Department is looking for a dedicated Programme Leader in Engineering (Automotive / Mechanical Engineering) to lead and inspire our engineering provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide curriculum development, foster academic excellence, and shape the future of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering education at one of the UK's leading colleges.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Programme Leader in Engineering, you will play a central role in delivering and leading high-quality teaching and curriculum design within Automotive and Mechanical Engineering. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading curriculum design, development, and delivery to ensure an exceptional student learning experience across Automotive and Mechanical Engineering programmes.
• Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of engineering courses, including monitoring quality indicators such as attendance, retention, and success.
• Developing learning resources and innovative teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes in both digital and face-to-face environments.
• Engaging in interviews, Open Days, and curriculum events to promote Automotive and Mechanical Engineering programmes.
• Contributing to the engineering academic community by staying current in Automotive and Mechanical Engineering and sharing knowledge through research and professional practice.
