Location: Glasgow, G3 6RQ (campus based)

Salary: Grade 8 (58,225 - 67,468)

Contract: 24 months Fixed Term

Working pattern: 35 hours, Monday to Friday

The School of Design welcomes applications to lead its popular one-year Masters in Graphics / Illustration / Photography at an exciting and pivotal time for the programme with a recently expanded staff team.




The successful applicant will play a key role in shaping a relevant and ambitious curriculum, where exceptional academic leadership, truly student-centred teaching and bold curriculum innovation informed by contemporary creative practice sit at the heart of the programme's vision.



The post holder will drive programme success, expand postgraduate provision and champion equality, diversity and accessibility, ensuring the MDes remains at the forefront of communication design education. They will contribute to research and knowledge exchange, support staff development and help extend GSA's postgraduate reach locally, nationally and internationally.



As a key member of the Design Senior Management Team, the successful applicant will take an active strategic role in strengthening the wider School of Design and enhancing its global reputation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of designers within a renowned creative institution.
