Overview



Are you a successful programme manager? We're looking for someone to join us and deliver an integration programme within our UK Retail business.

The focus of the role will be to oversee and drive the overall integration Programme, working closely with the impacted business units as well as individuals in our Retail Division and Enterprise Solutions (Central Service) functions. You will ensure all the individual projects within the programme run accordingly with the project managers and will be the escalation point for the wider programme to navigate through this integration.
This programme will move at speed; therefore, the successful applicant will have a strong intellect to be able to understand the detail, engage in conversation with senior stakeholders, flex and adapt their communication style to meet different stakeholders' needs, whilst all the time driving forward the delivery and coordinating work with third party vendors.

How you'll make an impact



Manage the Integration programme in accordance with the Change Management Framework, defining project approach, resource requirements and estimating project delivery timelines Working with the project managers, defining and agreeing project scope, outputs, timescale, quality, cost and benefits to ensure business requirements can be articulated, understood and agreed Defining, establishing and managing programme structure, roles and teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery Producing RAID logs and managing mitigation activities, including ongoing risk assessment Working with Information Technology / external application vendors to include their costs, activities and deliverables within the overall scope and approach, providing challenge and support to ensure technology related outcomes are achieved Creating high level and detailed documents, in order to effectively communicate with the project team, peers and stakeholders Act with integrity and sensitivity at all times, you will have access to confidential information, so discretion and the utmost professionalism is key

About You



Programme Management certification desired Programme Management, you must have worked on large transformation programs across a business, particularly with multiple projects sitting under the programme. Experience in insurance integration is desirable, and you must demonstrate a good understanding of the requirements needed for a programme of this size Excellent knowledge of business improvement and change management methodologies Insurance / Financial Services experience essential. Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence business decisions across all stakeholder groups Ability to respond confidently to conflicts and manage situations positively, proactively escalating on-going issues A self-starter, time management and deadline driven; able to set priorities, including when under timeline pressure, and monitor progress towards goals Ability to lead and motivate others through good people management skills Attention to detail, analytical approach, able to analyse findings and make valued, trusted recommendations High level of discretion and empathy Eligible to work in the UK with client site travel required
