The Vacancy
We're looking for an experienced and strategic

Programme Manager

to play a leading role in delivering Wythenshawe Community Housing Group's (WCHG) transformation ambitions.

Transformation is central to how WCHG delivers excellent services and supports thriving communities. As our Transformation Programme Manager, you'll lead the Programme Management Office (PMO), align projects to strategic priorities, and ensure our change activity is well-governed, inclusive and focused on outcomes.


You'll work closely with senior leaders, project managers and stakeholders across the organisation to drive innovation, manage risk and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing



Establishing and leading a fully functioning Programme Management Office (PMO) Designing and delivering a long-term transformation programme aligned to organisational priorities Providing clear governance, reporting and assurance across programmes and projects Leading and supporting Project Managers to deliver projects on time, to scope and within budget Tracking benefits realisation, risks and performance across all workstreams Engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels through clear, transparent communication Leading key corporate transformation projects with measurable impact Embedding quality assurance, consistency and continuous improvement Deputising for the Assistant Director of Transformation and contributing to strategic leadership

What You'll Bring



Qualifications & Experience



A professional programme management qualification (e.g. MSP Practitioner or equivalent) Significant experience delivering complex programmes and managing a PMO function Strong knowledge of project methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Lean or similar) Proven ability to manage risk, benefits realisation and value for money Experience leading organisational change and supporting others through transformation
