After receiving over 4.8M since it's successful launch in 2022, ECW has been awarded a further 10.8 million from the Department for Education (DfE) to deliver Skills Bootcamps to over 3080 learners in Cheshire and Warrington from April 2025.

The Role
Are you an experienced programme leader with a passion for delivering high-impact skills initiatives? We're seeking a Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of the Skills Bootcamp Programme, ensuring it achieves its objectives, demonstrates value for money, and supports Cheshire and Warrington's wider economic ambitions.
In this pivotal position, you will:
Lead and manage the Skills Bootcamp Programme team
Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and development to the programme team, ensuring high performance, clear accountability, and alignment with organisational priorities.
Oversee full programme management and delivery
Manage the programme lifecycle from strategic planning to contract oversight, financial monitoring, risk management, performance reporting and compliance. You'll ensure the programme is delivered on time, on budget and meets the highest standards of public sector governance.
Build strong partnerships and influence stakeholders
Develop effective relationships with training providers, local authorities, government departments and wider stakeholders. You will represent ECW at meetings and working groups, ensuring the programme is informed by robust labour market intelligence and contributes to broader skills strategies.
