Job Overview



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Support Officer within the Clinical Futures Team, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB).



Following the successful opening of the Grange University Hospital in November 2020, ABUHB continue to roll out change in the wider system to support the new model and require a strong, focused and innovative team to take forward our Clinical Futures strategy.



Working as part of the Clinical Futures Programme Team the post holder will support the development and implementation of the Clinical Futures Programme Portfolio made up of 10 key programmes as outlined in the Health Board's IMTP. The post holder will deploy excellent administrative, programme and project management methods to ensure the highest level of delivery.



The post holder will:



Support the team to ensure that the portfolio of programmes are planned, managed and delivered effectively.



Support and inform the implementation and evaluation of the tasks by providing high quality support including setting up and maintaining project documentation and producing project reports.



Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and ensuring the management of specific tasks, supporting reporting and analysis across the programmes, functions and projects.



Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally.



The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
