Programme Support & Operations Officer

to join our finance and operations team during a period of organisational development. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety - from HR support to logistics, from finance tasks to internal communications - and wants to contribute to an organisation working for environmental and social justice worldwide.

You'll be managed by the Finance and Operations Director and collaborate closely with colleagues and partners across multiple countries. The role requires initiative, adaptability and the ability to support an international team with professionalism and care.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Provide logistical support for Recourse partners and staff around international gatherings Maintain cloud-based filing systems and organisational asset register Support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of staff and maintain staff records Strengthen internal communications and team coordination Provide ad hoc administrative support, as needed Work with the management team on projects aimed at strengthening the organisation Support the development of a strong organisational HR function Carry out basic finance work and assist the finance team Explore the use of project management and collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello) to streamline workflows

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



Essential:



Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, Zoom and cloud?based filing systems, with the ability to manage documents and communication independently in a remote, fast?paced international team environment Proven experience in office administration, record keeping and HR support Experience working in small or medium-sized organisations, especially charities or NGOs HR support experience within an international NGO context Motivated to support the mission of an organisation focused on environmental and social justice and human rights Minimum 3 years' experience in organisational tasks Ability to work independently and be self-directed Fluent in written and spoken English Ability to travel internationally for up to 2 weeks per year Basic finance experience

Desirable:



Familiarity with project management and collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello) Bachelor's degree

SALARY AND BENEFITS



This is a part-time position for one year (4 days/week), renewable upon securing funding. It can eventually become a full-time position. Flexible working will be considered. The gross pro-rated salary will be in the range of 25,370 to 30,800 euros per annum and will be calculated depending on experience, per Recourse's salary scale. LOCATION



This role is open to candidates based in or around Oxford, UK, within commuting distance. Recourse works as a virtual team, with staff based in different countries around the world. All systems are online, so you would be expected to work remotely, with occasional in?person meetings in Oxford. Support for home?working costs on a pro rata basis would be available.
