The job role involves the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment within Sport and Academies, specifically in Esports. We have a fantastic partnership the British Esports Federation, Manchester City in the Community, Manchester City Esports and Williams F1, with aspirations to be a market lead in this field. These partnerships offer truly once in a lifetime experiences from international work placements to recreational and professional competition. Specifically, we are seeking an individual with the capability of leading and inspiring the next generation of Esports talent through your planning and delivery of the level 1, 2 and 3 Esports curriculum.
Primarily, you will be tasked with leading and growing a brand-new college provision, whilst supporting the future development of an HNC, HND and Degree Top Up option to ensure a market lead provision. In addition to this, you will also provide pastoral care to a minimum of 2 cohorts of learners. Within these pastoral care responsibilities, you will be required to form strong working relationships with learners and parents alike driving good attendance to all components of our study programmes in the pursuit of outstanding learner outcomes.

Oldham College is a medium sized general further education college, with a turnover of almost 25m. It has one main campus in the centre of town, and this is in a continuous redevelopment; 40m has been spent on the campus since 2012 as we continuously strive to provide innovative and industry leading learning environments for our learners. Higher education is taught on a second, dedicated campus, a short walk away. The College delivers a full range of work-related education and training, including 16-18 programmes of study, T levels, apprenticeships, adult learning and higher education.
