THE ROLE





As our new Programmer, you will join our team to help create exciting software and VR experiences. This is a brilliant opportunity to learn and grow whilst working on innovative gaming projects.



You will work alongside experienced programmers, designers, and artists in the gaming industry. You'll contribute to our VR game projects and learn how to bring creative ideas to life through interactive technology. This role offers hands-on experience with the latest VR platforms and headsets.



Working with our talented team of designers and artists, you'll help create engaging experiences for players whilst developing your programming skills.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS





Solid Unity and C# knowledge - ideally with some hands-on experience building gameplay systems or prototypes Decent maths background including vectors, quaternions, and transforms Some familiarity with UI development in Unity - such as Canvases, batching, masking, and general performance considerations A basic understanding of profiling and optimisation including GC, overdraw, Update cost, etc. - even if it's just academic or self-taught A genuine interest in VR/MR would be a bonus Good communication skills and ability to work well with team members including designers, artists, and project leads Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn independently 0-2 years of experience in games development including internships, personal projects, or recent graduate

Any VR development experience including personal projects or coursework Interest in multiplayer or networked games Experience with action games or FPS genres including mods or personal projects Portfolio of game development projects (personal, academic, or professional) Understanding of software development lifecycle
