Reference:

PHW/25/325839 Sefton Council are seeking expressions of interests from highly motivated and dynamic individuals, who want to develop their skills and knowledge in a public health environment. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge and relevent experience of partnership/project co-ordination and management. They will support senior leads around a portfolio of substance use and addiction, health improvement interventions and services, which aim to maximise health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities in Sefton.



The post holder will apply a programme management approach within the public health context, to ensure the aims of projects and that of, any external grant funding requirements are met. They will have experience of balancing internal and external demands preferably in a public health role.



The post holder will develop and maintain effective multi agency delivery partnerships to ensure the necessary skills and capacity are available to deliver agreed objectives. They will support public health commissioning, performance monitoring, campaigns and evaluation of services/interventions to improve health outcomes across the borough.



Specific areas of work will be agreed with the Public Health Lead, reflecting the priorities within the public health business plan.



Fixed term to cover maternity leave for aproximately 8 months
