We're recruiting a
Progress Partner
for a forward-thinking
special school in Crawley
that supports children and young people aged 5-16 with complex needs including autism, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

About the Role
As a Progress Partner, you'll work closely with pupils, teachers, and therapists to support individual learning journeys. You'll help track progress, deliver tailored interventions, and build trusted relationships that empower pupils to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups across a range of subjects and developmental areas
Monitor and record progress against EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
Promote independence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing
Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive school culture

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in working with children with SEND (school, care, or youth settings)
Calm, empathetic, and resilient with a proactive approach
Confident in supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
Able to build rapport and trust with pupils who may have experienced trauma or disruption
Committed to safeguarding and professional development
Desirable:
Knowledge of autism, SEMH, or trauma-informed practice
Experience with EHCPs or progress tracking
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Team Teach, Mental Health First Aid)
