We are seeking to appoint a progress tutor in electrical to join the existing team and support our 16-18-year-old learners to achieve their full potential and progress to their next steps.
Loughborough College Sport is a highly successful team with over 300 full time learners. The team offers a wide range of provision at level 2 and 3.
A relevant degree and vocational experience in an educational setting are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will manage and coach a case load of learners in partnership with curriculum, other progress tutors and staff, to ensure that learners become independent learners who progress successfully. They will deliver inspiring tutorial support to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences.
The successful candidate will also help provide cover within the team making this a perfect route for those candidates wanting to start a career in teaching. The college will support you in acquiring a teaching qualification and you will gain the knowledge and experience of teaching through the role.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large cross-curricular team. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines.
