This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to make a meaningful impact within the not-for-profit sector. Based in London, this role involves managing project finances and ensuring accurate reporting to stakeholders.

• Oversee the financial management of assigned projects, ensuring budgets are adhered to.
• Prepare accurate financial reports for stakeholders and funding bodies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast and track project costs.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making and project planning.
• Review and reconcile project accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules related to projects.
• Support the wider Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as required.

A successful Project Accountant should have:

• Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
• Experience managing project finances within the not-for-profit sector or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
