Project Accounting Manager - Bolton- Up to 70,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to help deliver high-value projects that will shape the way finance operates and scales for the future.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional who thrives on change, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to take ownership of transformation initiatives across systems, processes, and M&A activity.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller (Projects), you will be part of a dedicated Finance Transformation team, taking the lead on projects that include:

• Implementing new finance systems and ensuring smooth adoption across teams
• Redesigning processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting integration activity around acquisitions and mergers
• Partnering with the PMO and utilising project management tools to deliver effective change
• Providing insight and challenge to senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business

What we're looking for

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified accountant with 4+ years PQE
• Background in finance with hands-on involvement in transformation or change projects
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and data analysis capability
• Project management skills (Prince2, Agile, PMP) desirable but not essential
• A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach
