Job Description

Stonewood Builders Ltd are an award-winning builder of high-quality building projects, offering exceptional service and a commitment to excellence for over 50 years. We are looking to recruit a Project Assistant to join our busy office near Chippenham, Wiltshire.

We are looking for a candidate to work on projects predominantly in the high-end residential sector and have a keen interest in the construction industry. Successful candidates will receive full training with a view to undertaking duties on a variety of projects for senior members of staff.

Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle to travel to the office - where site visits are required, a company vehicle will be made available for your use.

Key Responsibilities



Assist Contracts Managers & Site Managers with day to day in the delivery of project administration Attend and minute site meetings with external stakeholders such as clients, architects, subcontractors and designers Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting Work with the project team to produce and monitor project administration documentation Manage and control project design information using cloud systems such as Sharepoint or A-Site Work with the project team to monitor site health and safety and ensure site practices align with the company Health & Safety Policy Assist Site Managers and Contracts Managers with the creation and review of project risk assessments Assist in site set-up and close-down procedures, such as the production of Construction Phase Plans, Site Setup Plans and Operation & Maintenance Manuals Organise meetings and co-ordinate diaries between project and design teams

Knowledge and experience of construction programming tools such as Microsoft Project General knowledge of current construction health and safety legislation A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying or other related construction degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
