About the role





Dods training is looking to hire a Project Assistant to support with the day-to-day management of training deliveries and offer administrative support to the UK training team. Dods Training, under the umbrella of Total Politics, offers high quality training through a variety of formats on a wide range of subjects - including policy making, governance, leadership and management, communication skills and media handling.



Working as part of the Dods Training team, you will be working on a range of training deliveries, scaling from large, long-term deliveries to one off online training courses across a variety of clients.



You will provide first class support to the Training project manager and Head of UK Training in the production and delivery of training events. This is a broad and varied position which will involve working with key stakeholders across multiple projects and training events including associate trainers, guest speakers, clients and delegates.

What we are looking for





Dods training are looking for a Project Assistant on a permanent contract to work 5 days a week. The role will be predominantly based in the office, located at Millbank Tower London, but will have the flexibility to work from home.



Our ideal candidate will have:


Good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially MS Teams) Strong administration skills Ability to multi-task and work on a range of projects at any one time Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Flexible, quick thinker, highly organised and can deal with tight deadlines and a demanding environment Confident and proactive, prepared to take a hands-on approach A keen eye for detail and a good visual eye A team player Experience of working within a corporate/ office environment



Key responsibilities





The candidate will work closely with the Head of UK Training and Project Manager, supporting the team with all aspect of training delivery, including:



To administer the general preparation, organisation, and delivery of training deliveries, both online and face-to-face. Provide project administrative support as required - using Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry, file maintenance and website updates. Offering tech support when required on online training programmes. Communicating with stakeholders when asked by PM to ensure that the training meets their needs and requirements to maintain and build good relationships. Assisting in the development and organisation of the Dods training database. Undertake and manage event logistics, including travel, couriers, hotel bookings etc. Prepare event materials and support at training deliveries when required. Providing feedback data for the PM after each training delivery
