Perth & Kinross Council is looking for a Project Assistant to support the exciting Buses 2030 Transport Transformation Project -- a bold initiative to develop a model for shaping the future of sustainable transport in our region.



Although the post is advertised as full time, we welcome applications from suitable candidates on a part-time or full-time basis.

Skills & Experience Required

As a key member of our project team, you'll:



Support the Project Lead in delivering a high-impact transport transformation programme.



Coordinate project activities, meetings, and workshops.



Manage project documentation and ensure effective version control.



Act as the first point of contact for project-related enquiries.



Help monitor performance and contribute to insightful project reports.


Experience



Proven experience supporting project work and coordinating project administration.

Experience working with the public and stakeholders in a project environment.


Knowledge & Skills



Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of public transport services delivery

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and use initiative.

Understanding of project governance and performance monitoring.

You must have a valid driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
