The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience with AutoCAD, particularly in generating 2D mechanical drawings. This role is crucial in translating quoted designs into comprehensive technical drawing packs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Generate and maintain 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings for various projects Convert quoted designs into detailed technical drawing packs Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate representation of designs Manage and organise CAD files and documentation Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions Assist in the development and improvement of CAD standards and processes Provide technical support to team members on CAD-related issues Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for CAD-related matters Stay updated on the latest CAD technologies and industry trends
