Job Description

FLN Consulting Engineers are an established multi-discipline engineering consultancy with offices in the UK and Ireland. We work closely with clients, architects and other design orientated colleagues to deliver high quality structural design throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to expanding workload a vacancy exists in our structural division based in Glasgow for a project engineer. The role also offers ongoing training and there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to progress to Associate Director level.

Working as a project structural engineer your key responsibilities will include;

Assist with the preparation of civil / structural design calculations. Assist with the checking of design calculations and civil / structural drawings. Assist the Associate Director with the delivery of civil / structural design on assigned projects. Liaise with clients and engineering team members to execute and deliver projects. Assist the Associate Director on the day to day running of the structural division, overseeing and mentoring a team of graduate engineers and technicians.
Required qualifications and key skills;

Membership of the IStructE and or ICE. Experience with AutoCAD Experience with Revit Structures is preferable but not essential. Excellent communication skills.
A highly competitive salary is offered dependent on experience.
