Contract:

Full?time (45 hours per week)



Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2) is one of the UK's most strategically important energy infrastructure programmes, connecting the north of Scotland to Yorkshire via subsea link. Join us at our Market Weighton project office and help us build trust, strengthen relationships and keep communities informed as we deliver this flagship scheme.

What you'll be doing



ou'll be the on?site communications lead--creating and delivering clear, timely updates for colleagues, customers and local stakeholders. Typical activities include:


Delivering the project communications and community engagement plan in

plain English

, using the right channels at the right time and securing approvals before publishing. Managing stakeholder data and segmentation in line with GDPR to enable targeted, measurable communications. Running a pipeline of content--monthly project newsletter and All Hands call--to share progress and key milestones. Planning and supporting public exhibitions, community meetings and working groups; coordinating site visits that showcase our expertise.


Who we're looking for

Essential:




Experience in marketing, PR or communications with a strong customer focus. Confident engaging face?to?face with external stakeholders; diplomatic when resolving conflict. Excellent writing/storytelling and presentation skills; able to translate technical detail into simple, engaging content.



Desirable:




Degree/qualification in communications; professional membership (CIPR/IOIC/CIM). Experience in construction/civil engineering infrastructure; understanding of the energy?sector regulatory environment.
