The BTNO project is a critical infrastructure upgrade enabling the UK's transition to net zero by reinforcing the electricity network between Bramford and Twinstead to support increased power generation and transmission. As we move into main construction works, we're now searching for a Project Communications Officer based at Sudbury, Suffolk to join the team and be part of our legacy!
You'll be a self-starter who is happy to spend most of your time on site, working alongside fantastic project teams and support our customer, National Grid, on this flagship project. Day to day you will build and maintain relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional internal and external communication outputs that drive engagement, build trust and protect our reputation.
Please Note: A full driving licence and willingness to travel is required to be successful
What you'll be doing
As a key member of the BTNO project team, you will be responsible for delivering activities outlined in the project communication and community engagement plan to provide appropriate and timely information to all stakeholders. The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to, the duties described below:
