We invite you to join our clients dynamic and ever-expanding Project Controls Team in the heart of London, working across their client portfolio of UK Infrastructure/ Defence programmes in the Southeast.

As a Project Controls Manager, you will play a pivotal role in their esteemed team, taking charge of project controls activities for high-profile client commissions working on a hybrid basis. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of complex ventures.

You\'d be joining a globally renowned professional services company, who are committed to delivering exceptional results for clients across various aviation, rail, nuclear, defence, energy, and utilities industries. They provide the opportunity to move between sectors, whilst building experience across a broad range of major projects and programmes, offering a wide range of services, including project/programme management, cost/commercial management, digital solutions and advisory services, addressing the entire project lifecycle.

Role: Permanent - Project Controls Manager

Location: London (Hybrid Working \xe2\x80\x93 Flexible Adult Working - 37.5 hrs)

Salary: \xc2\xa365,000pa - \xc2\xa380,000p/a (depending on experience) + car allowance.

Type: Consultancy (Infrastructure/Defence Projects- Client Facing)

It\'s a permanent position, predominately client facing, this may be part of a large team or as the key day to day contact point with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Deliver project controls services, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, relating to large, complex and mega projects. Manage the establishment of the overall success criteria for the contract, including time, cost, and performance parameters.
  • To act as the key, day to day project team interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and these projects are delivered within time and cost targets and to the appropriate quality standards.
  • Develop and implement robust project controls strategies, tailored to the unique requirements of each project.
  • Oversee project performance, identifying potential risks, and providing proactive mitigation plans.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards, presenting project status and insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Relevant technical degree and management qualifications. Professional experience undertaking project control roles for the development and/or delivery of construction projects.
  • Demonstrating strong leadership skills.
  • Good understanding of Primavera 6 and MS Teams
  • Expertise in project controls methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience of risk management, change control information management and reporting within complex projects, and integration of same
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
