Main Purpose of Job:
To coordinate and manage translation/interpretation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they meet agreed deadlines, quality standards, and profitability targets. The role also provides administrative support across departments to ensure the smooth running of back-office operations and excellent client service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Management
Organise, prioritise, and manage your own workload to ensure all projects are delivered on or before agreed due dates.
Liaise with clients and freelance linguists, maintaining excellent communication and professional relationships.
Manage project budgets, ensuring gross profit margins of 65%+ are met or exceeded.
Use Wrike Project Management tool and Zoho CRM to build, schedule, and manage projects effectively.
Proof, check, and format final translated documents before delivery.
Carry out quality control checks at key project stages (including translator output, formatting, and final delivery), ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal best practices.
Identify potential issues early, proactively resolve them, and close any gaps to keep projects on track.
Maintain all project documentation in SharePoint in a timely and organised manner.
Ensure all processes align with ISO 17100:2015, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, and ISO 5060:2024 standards.
Administration & Support
Support the Managing Director and department heads with administrative tasks.
Create and send purchase orders to suppliers, and raise sales quotes/orders as required.
Assist the Sales Team with database management, cleaning pipelines, and client follow-ups.
Act as the first point of contact for client enquiries, ensuring a professional and courteous approach.
Maintain accurate and legal paperwork for all activities.
Contribute to weekly team meetings, reporting on performance, budgets, and project updates.
Client & Team Relations
Maintain high client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and going above and beyond where needed.
Follow up after project delivery to confirm receipt and explore further support opportunities.
Handle client complaints promptly and professionally in line with the ISO Independent Review Procedure.
Represent MLC at networking events and client meetings alongside Sales and Account Management teams.
Skills & Attributes Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Discreet, professional, and able to handle sensitive information.
Positive, proactive, and adaptable with a "can-do" attitude.
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
