We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our small and friendly team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing project timelines, resources, and communication among stakeholders. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate well and effectively to ensure project success. The Project Coordinator will work closely with all the members of the KDK Archaeology team, clients, county archaeologists, sub-contractors and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Ensure all the required project specific information is collated.
Utilise and maintain the project management systems to ensure all the data is up-to-date and that the project is running efficiently.
Book plant, welfare and staff accommodation.
Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilise management systems to organise project documentation efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive working environment.
Other office tasks as required.
Experience
5 years minimum administrative experience essential.
Proven experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role is preferred.
Background in the heritage sector, construction industry or local government planning isessential.
Archaeological experience is desirable.
PA experience desirable.
High level of computer literacy required, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
