We are seeking a summer intern to join our Strategic Marketing team as a project co-ordinator. This role offers a unique chance to make a tangible impact and grow professionally in a supportive and dynamic environment at Emerald Publishing.
Research and higher education are facing a number of challenges at the moment due to geopolitical instability. As a result of this, a declaration to #DefendResearch has been developed by a group of individuals from within academic and scholarly communication. The intern will help strengthen the #DefendResearch campaign by amplifying Emerald Publishing's support.
The role will involve amplifying our messaging while engaging with Emerald stakeholders (internal, e.g., Publishing Team, Author Marketing, Americas Leadership Team, Editors, Authors, Partners, etc) and the wider scholarly community, including helping us to reach audiences beyond academia.
The successful intern will gain invaluable experience working on a high-impact campaign, enhancing their research and digital marketing skills while engaging with the scholarly community. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with strategic and author marketing teams, contributing to meaningful projects that amplify important messages. Additionally, the intern will develop a deeper understanding of scholarly communications and metrics and build a professional network within a leading publishing organisation.
This internship will last 12 weeks.
