Job Overview
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. This position requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. As a small business, the position offers the opportunity and pathway to develop and progress in seniority. The role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the operational side of projects, including logistics, installation, travel, accommodation and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Communicate effectively with clients, production AND installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Financial management of gross profit for projects.
Coordination of installation teamd, including skilled workers and apprentices.
Collaborate with the production team through weekly meetings to ensure project timelines are met.
Lead production priorities, ensuring the Production Manager and team are aware of deadlines.
Ensure the Health & Safety of installers through toolbox talks, training, PAT testing, etc.
Manage Health & Safety - CHAS & ISO Certifications, RAMS, COSHH compliance.
Oversee the maintenance and lease agreements for the site fleet.
Requirements:
Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role is preferred.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings is advantageous but not essential; training may be provided.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and certifications - CHAS, ISO Certifications, RAMS, COSHH compliance.
