We are a fast-growing, innovative Internet provider, delivering full-fibre broadband across rural areas in the Southwest, including Dorset, Somerset, New Forest, and now expanding our network into Wiltshire. Dedicated to delivering lightning-fast broadband to thousands of countryside homes and businesses, we are different to most Alt Nets in that we design, build, and operate our own network to ensure every connection meets our high standards.
Late last year, we celebrated an exciting milestone in connecting our 10,000th customer to our full-fibre service. This achievement highlights our commitment to exceptional customer service and is reflected in our customer reviews and trust pilot scores.
We're a growing business built on teamwork, where each contribution is valued and has a part to play in our successes. With a focus on personal and professional growth, we offer endless opportunities to make an impact. As we continue to grow, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our team.
The Role
As a Project Delivery Lead you will be responsible for the timely and efficient end to end delivery of all network build projects assigned to you. Overseeing work completed by multi-discipline construction teams, taking detailed designs and working through all build stages to deliver Ready For Service UPRNs.
You will be required to work collaboratively with senior management and business clients (internal and external) to ensure all projects stay on time, and that key deliverables and tasks are met. You will engage with the planners during the planning process of your projects; leading on the co-ordination and liaison between build resource owners and planners to ensure the project can be built efficiently. You are responsible for proactively identifying issues and making contingency plans to prevent them impacting the process or delaying delivery.
You will coordinate resourcing of your project from the Resource Managers (Cabling, Civils, Splicing, Rural). Whilst not line manager of the teams working on your projects, you will work closely with the Resource Managers to ensure that the teams are working efficiently and that future resourcing requirements are clearly communicated in a timely fashion. You will own the Schedule of the build.
This is a co-ordination and scheduling role where you will be expected to be the master of the detail. You will be expected to provide solutions to deal with challenges and conflicting priorities to ensure projects are completed on time in accordance with the overall Program.
Success will be measured by the number of projects completed on time, within budget and in line with KPIs.
