We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Delivery Manager! This role involves managing our project delivery operations, to ensure installations and maintenance work are delivered to the highest standard, whilst maximising efficiency and resources.





The Project Delivery Manager will manage from start to completion all project installations as per the quote and scope of works ensuring that any variations are captured and fed back, ensuring that the capacity and efficiency is maximized through the Project Delivery team.



The Project Delivery Manager will strive for 'Right First Time' goals whilst coaching and mentoring those within the team.



Managing all financials within a project including on site stock the Projection Manager will capture any deviations whilst liaising with the Head of Commercial. Product and quality control is key for projects to drive an excellent NPS result.



This role will involve working alongside other members of the project delivery team, operations and commercial team. Capabilities in problem-solving, effective communication and influencing are key to this role and will allow those customer/working relationships to grow.

Responsibilities



To manage from start to completion all project installations as per the quote and scope of works ensuring that any variations are captured and fed back. The PDM will ensure all sites are fully compliant from a H&S point of view, to include the communication of RAMS, making sure they match the work being carried out and that PSM/subcontractors adhered to both RAMS and outlined work/time periods. Monitor and analyse data to produce regular project updates and report on progress against targets agreed, liaising with the Commercial team on any discrepancies. Manage pre site inspections to ensure the quote is as per customers' requirements and the project can be delivered correctly at the right margin. Manage implementation of Project Start-up: with site plans for product installation, raising of RAMS and COSHH statements, organise inductions and set weekly work plans for installation teams. Ensure installation teams are maximised for efficiency gains and Fieldwire is used to manage workload and quality of installation. Ensure accuracy of scope of works required for site installations, to allow efficiency and productivity for installation teams with any deviations / variations captured and fed back to the commercial and finance team. Manage on and off plant hire to ensure this is completed within the timescales of each project. Work alongside the Project Delivery team to identify opportunities to optimise the allocation of resources, ensuring plans are realistic, achievable and within budget. Carry out weekly customer reporting via Fieldwire to update on project progress and highlight any current or unforeseen issues communicating with both the customers and site teams where necessary. Support PSM's on projects ensuring that all delegated duties and tasks suitable for their level of skills and knowledge. Routinely visit sites to audit and inspect work carried out by the team to maintain quality and quantity of work being done, to include any relevant health and safety information. Ensure after a project is completed that a full hand over process is completed and a sign off is delivered and documented both internally and externally via Fieldwire reporting. Monitor the completion of the team's necessary safety checks, to include PPE and work/access equipment, through their weekly submitted paperwork. Any H&S / Accidents are reported, investigated and action is taken where appropriate. Record and report on required health and safety statistics, right first-time progress and utilisation of subcontractors and internal site teams. Schedule and complete one-to-one monthly meetings with team members. Work with PSM's to create a high performing team through coaching and training where necessary, to include legislation updates and recording within the skill/training matrix. Always thinking of our customer when carrying out duties and ensuring the 'customer experience' of purchasing goods and services from the company to induce repeat order potential. Review and process subcontractors, ensuring they meet required criteria at all times and what they are expected to achieve on site is fully communicated through a debrief. Manage subcontractor costs and orders to ensure payment is made on time by the finance team. Ensure Customer complaints are logged and fed back as part of 'internal issues log' to ensure continuous improvement. Be knowledgeable and familiar with all core products to take corrective action when necessary. Ensure product development is fed back to ops / design to assist to optimise install efficiency. Control material on site - weekly management of stock takes; site returns and holding installation teams accountable for organisation and cleanliness of materials.

Successfully coach and mentor team into a high performing, technically knowledgeable team achieving KPIs (to include sub-contractors). Demonstration of personal continuous improvement. Weekly P&L reviews of all projects and assess any risks to be managed with commercial team. Timely management of site variations/additional costs. Control of subcontractor and plant hire costs against project budgets. Site material control- weekly management of stock takes.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience



Project Management experience is essential for this role. Industry knowledge and experience would be advantageous. Able to prioritise, develop work schedule, and influence others to achieve results. Good organisation and planning skills to supervise team(s) to accomplish set goals and targets. Exemplary communication and engagement skills. Ability to understand the needs of the audience and make any necessary adaptations, whilst carrying out onsite training. Knowledge and understanding of the product, systems of work, installation techniques and construction basics within the industry. Knowledge of H&S regulations relevant to the industry, to include risk assessments and method statements. Coaching and mentoring experience, with the ability to understand and adapt to learning requirements of audience.
