We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Delivery Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for contributing to delivery of our supported living development programme in line with our development strategy. You will play a key role in managing specialist development projects and relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring the successful commissioning and management of contractors and professional services to facilitate delivery of new properties in line with financial and performance targets.


As Project Delivery Manager, you will oversee the development process from inception to completion for a range of new build and refurbishment projects, and ensure the integration of corporate policies, such as health and safety, equality, and diversity, into every aspect of our work.


The role will primarily involve working from home, with regular meetings at various office locations with regular travel to meetings and development sites across the country.

Your Role as Project Delivery Manager for RWP:



Key Responsibilities:



Supporting the Head of Development (RWP) to assess the financial performance of new business opportunities. Identification of sites, properties and redevelopment opportunities nationwide, in response to commissioning requirements and in accordance with the Development Strategy. Responsibility for managing complex development projects including new build and refurbishments, from inception to completion. This includes the preparation of project briefs, tender documentation, appointment and management of consultants, contractors and on-site staff during the construction phase, ensuring delivery on programme and within agreed budgets tying into the overall delivery targets and capital expenditure for the RWP business stream. Ensure value for money in scheme delivery and make sure consideration is given to future design and adaptability for the long-term sustainability of providing lifetime homes. Effectively manage design meetings to ensure schemes meet the individual needs of the customer and the required standards of the Group to ensure homes are fit for purpose and fully compliant in line with the Groups current design brief. Prepare Board reports on potential and ongoing projects for the Head of Development (RWP) to present to the Group's Investment Committee for acquisition, contract commitment and overall total scheme cost approval considerations.
This is a permanent contract, working 36.25 hours per week

What You Will Bring:



GCSE or equivalent standard of education. Relevant professional membership or technical qualification - for example, housing practice/ surveying / construction / design (equivalent experience will be considered). A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience of general development experience project managing a range of schemes including new build development project management. Experience in the preparation, monitoring and analysis of financial information for costing, cashflow, budgeting and appraisal purposes, always demonstrating excellent levels of financial awareness. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collectively
