ITI Network Services Ltd is a rapid growing telecoms services and infrastructure business based in Sheffield, we successfully supply services to a number of blue-chip clients throughout the UK.

Role Overview



We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic Delivery Manager , you will have a strong background in Telco/Data Networks and Wifi, with the ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and methodology. You will be computer literature and ideally you will have knowledge of a variety of Network equipment manufacturers such as Cisco and Meraki.

Delivery Manager (MOD) - Role Profile

Programme Manager and Head of Operations

3. Job Purpose:

To deliver multiple Projects across the UK.

You will have a strong background in Telco Engineering I&C and Management, this role would suit a senior Engineer looking to move into management. The role will require a self-starter, collaboration with all levels and an excellent customer service approach.

You will be comfortable supporting and challenging senior leaders, to encourage ambition and to recommend evidence- based change.

You will develop and maintain a network of contacts across our customer base. Manage performance bench marking and the adoption of good practice. It is critical to success in this post that you have demonstrable ability to engage with others, and that you have strong communication skills, with ability and determination to overcome barriers.

Working alongside customers and colleagues you will ensure that providers, internal and external, deliver the contracted or agreed service levels whilst providing ICT support across a portfolio of sites in the UK and Europe.

4. Duties/Accountabilities:



The Delivery Manager is a new role which involves working closely with internal staff and contractors, and external customers.

Implement new processes and policies, manage Engineering teams from Survey through to install and completion.

Support with onsite surveys, installs and customer sign off, ensuring quality is maintained.

Finances - Understand and Track costs across the program with the Senior PM, ensuring margins are always maintained.

Improvement - Assess performance, research, and develop new capabilities that can be applied to the program.

Encourage and implement cost saving reductions.

Provide Support to the Commercial Team with bid responses and technical input.

Respond to new pricing requests for existing customers.

Provide Directors headline updates as required.

Pick up on any overlaps within the PMO Team as required.

Encourage the Project Coordinators to increase their input into projects.

Ensure efficient use of all resources across all projects.

Assist the Head of Operations with employment of new resource both internal and sub-contract to build competence levels.

Support other areas of the business during staff holidays.

Must work to client and company Quality, Health & Safety processes, and procedures

5. Special Features:



Hold SC Clearance- Preferable

Strong understanding of Telecommunications and Network Infrastructure.

Time to be split between the Head Office, Home and Customer Site/Offices.

Some OOH and weekend work may be involved.

Some Overnight and European Travel may be involved.

6. Requirements/Competencies:



Knowledge:



Knowledge of Health and Safety Systems.

Knowledge of Quality Systems.

Knowledge of Industry Accreditations i.e., ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO27001

Competent in a wide range of Telecoms equipment.

Working knowledge of structured cabling systems including containment installation practices and test procedures.

Working knowledge of computer network installation topology and hardware; LANs (particularly Ethernet and its derivatives); WANs/WIFI.

Computer Literate Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Excel.

Extensive Field and Project based Knowledge and experience.

Ability to read and interpret detailed Drawings and Methodology.

Pay: 32,000.00-36,000.00 per year
