Job Description

Role summary:



As a Project Designer, you will be a key member of our design team, playing a vital role in the delivery of hospitality and special projects. You will be responsible for surveying project locations, producing accurate floor plans, and creating high-quality 2D and 3D floorplans and production drawings.

Working closely with the project team and clients, you will support the full project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, technical accuracy, and efficient delivery from concept through to completion.

Your role will include:



- Space planning and 2D Floor plans for projects

- Survey site locations

- Review and verify the accuracy of plans against Bills of Quantities, M&E installation drawings, and related technical documentation

- Liaise closely with clients, interior designers, architects, and project teams to ensure coordinated and accurate design delivery

- Produce all required technical drawings and detailed specifications to support product development

- Oversee the development of prototypes, both internally and externally, throughout the full product development process

- Create concepts, sketches, renders, and visual material for internal and external presentations, producing high-quality visuals when required

- Prepare technical reports and project presentations as necessary

You need:



- A degree in furniture design/architectural design

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the furniture/architectural design industry

- Excellent understanding of manufacturing process and materials

- Expert in AutoCAD

- Experience in Inventor preferable

- Ideally have experience in Revit/BIM

- Awareness of latest technological manufacturing and material advances

- Experience in multi-tasking and working well under pressure in an often-fluid environment

- A creative thinker to look for best use of manufacturing methods and materials in our product development strategy

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Dynamic, highly motivated and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

- Reliable and committed and able to work independently

- Professional, friendly and able to work well within a team

- Eager and enthusiastic, pro-active with a can-do attitude

- A good communicator, both verbal and written

- Excellent time and project management skills

- High degree of initiative and the flexibility required to successfully accommodate deadlines

- Strong commercial acumen
