ABOUT THE ROLE
As Project Designer, you will lead the design phase of interiors and refurbishment projects, translating client briefs through to detailed design and coordinating between disciplines. Key responsibilities include:
Leading concept development, mood boards, material palettes and spatial layouts
Creating detailed design packages: plans, sections, elevations, joinery detail, lighting & FF&E
Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, consultants and contractors
Ensuring design integrity, compliance with regulations, buildability and technical coordination
Undertaking design reviews, quality assurance, cost checks and value engineering
Liaising with project teams to ensure seamless handover to delivery
Participating in client presentations, workshops and design communication
You will work across multiple projects, balancing creativity, commercial constraints and technical feasibility.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience (3+ years) as an interior / project designer, ideally in commercial / office / fit-out sectors
Track record of producing high quality design packages: plans, elevations, sections, joinery and FF&E
Proficiency with relevant design software (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
Strong sense of detail, material knowledge, spatial planning and finishes
Technical understanding of M&E interfaces, lighting, building services and structural constraints
Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and stakeholders
Excellent presentation, communication and client-facing skills
Ability to combine creative flair with commercial awareness and technical rigour
Degree or professional qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar
