Position Purpose





The Project Development Associate will guide internal team members in developing high-quality proposals for new opportunities. Working closely with Business Development, Project Leadership, Designers, and Estimators, the Project Development Lead oversees the Project Development process and drives the execution of all Client facing deliverables. The Project Development lead work primarily in the Fixed Market, supporting Location Based Experience (LBE) and Placemaking.



This role requires technical aptitude and commercial awareness, while taking ownership of the end-to-end Project Development process. It is important that The Project Development Associate shows an understanding of our business, our processes, and can identify key areas regarding risk to take appropriate action. The Project Development Associate hold responsibility to the organization for ensuring that scope, schedule, and budget are clearly defined, along with the acknowledgement of technical and commercial risks.



Responsibilities





The Project Development Associate must be familiar with administrative processes and policies, IT systems, document organization standards, and should have a strong understanding of the Project Development process. They will support Business Development and Project Leadership partners in assessing project opportunities. They should become knowledgeable in TAIT's history and capabilities to represent the brand accurately and be capable of collaborating with Clients.



The Project Development Associate's are expected to spend approximately 85% of their time performing in the role of active Project Development, 10% of their time contributing to organizational and departmental improvements, and 5% towards continuing to grow their skillsets. The position is primarily an office-based role, but occasional site visits or travel to Client facilities or other TAIT facilities for in person collaboration may occur. The role offers limited flexibility for working from home, occurring with approval from the Project Development Manager.



Responsibilities

Create the highest quality proposal materials (Proposals, Narratives, Presentations, RFIs Project Schedules, etc.) Ensure that the Client's vision is considered and maintained throughout the Project Development process Facilitate all internal Project Development of creative and technical solutions Utilize relationships to resolve challenges, conflicts, or disputes within a project or between competing projects Support Business Development and Project Leadership partners in reviewing cost estimates and establishing appropriate sales pricing that aligns with the Client's commercial expectations Identify opportunities to build new skillsets, improve existing skillsets, and identify opportunities for improvements in the Project Development process Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company

Position Requirements



Experience in Project Management, Business Development, Construction Management, or Technical Development, preferably with experience in Entertainment, Design, or Architectural industry Experience reviewing Scope of Works, Tender Specifications, Drawing Packages, and other Client provided deliverables Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) Demonstrated experience developing and delivering high quality proposal packages
