Witherslack Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director to lead an exciting new initiative focused on supporting young people with SEND. In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of the planning, design, development, testing, and successful delivery of an innovative blended learning product. You will steer the project from inception through to commercialisation and ongoing enhancement, embedding our proven WG Futures curriculum and ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and government policies.


You will provide strategic leadership, setting the vision and roadmap for the project's growth over the next five years, while driving commercial success and operational excellence. As the key interface for all stakeholders, you will lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team, managing internal resources, contractors, and partners to deliver outstanding outcomes. Your strong communication and negotiation skills will be essential as you engage with clients, regulators, and the Board, delivering regular updates and managing risks to ensure the project remains on track and aligned with Witherslack's high standards and values.

Proven Leadership in Educational Product Development


Demonstrated experience leading large-scale education projects, including launching new services or platforms to successful market delivery.

Strategic Planning and Change Management


Strong ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage change, and translate customer needs into effective operational solutions.

Financial and Commercial Acumen


Experience managing complex budgets, driving commercial performance, and identifying new business opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management


Skilled in building and maintaining strategic relationships, with strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution capabilities at senior levels.

Project Governance and Risk Management Expertise


Proficient in project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation to ensure successful project delivery.
