The Role

As a Projects Engineer, you will be a vital link between projects, and production, ensuring that workshop scopes run smoothly and efficiently. At Harper UK, we are known for getting the job done--and doing it right.

From project kick-off to final delivery, you'll assist with overseeing planning, interpreting fabrication drawings, and ensuring timelines are met while maintaining our commitment to quality and safety. You will work closely with fabrication and engineering teams, proactively solving problems and ensuring our high standards are upheld at every stage

Key Responsibilities

coordinate project requirements. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to everyone involved to ensure the job runs smoothly. Interpret and work from detailed fabrication and mechanical engineering drawings. Identify and resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively. Maintain a strong focus on quality, on-time delivery. Ensuring the job is delivered for the client how and when they need it. Build strong working relationships across departments and with external partners. Assist with the preparation of project documentation and reports.

About You

Proven experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Experience in identifying and implementing practical solutions to operational challenges. Confident in reading and interpreting fabrication and technical drawings. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organised with the ability to assist with management of multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in an energetic setting. A team player with a "can-do" mindset. Ability to adapt and solve problems as they arise Solution Driven; we pride ourselves in assisting our clients realise their requests by providing solutions to suit their requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in a fabrication-based role (preferred)
