AvantiGas is expanding our Project Engineering capability to meet growing demand for innovative LPG installations. We're looking for an exceptionally organised coordinator who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain rigorous documentation, and ensure smooth delivery across our engineering team.


Your exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure projects stay on track, documentation is accurate, and communication flows seamlessly across all stakeholders, internal colleagues and customers.

The Role

============


This is a pivotal coordination role within a strategically important team. You'll work alongside Project Engineers supporting the delivery of complex LPG infrastructure projects including bulk storage installations and commercial conversions.


Your ability to juggle multiple priorities, maintain meticulous records, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and customers will be critical to our success.

What You'll Be Doing

Project Coordination & Management

Manage multiple projects simultaneously

, ensuring schedule accuracy and cost control while supporting smooth installation delivery

Optimise project delivery

by coordinating across Sales, Technical Engineering, and Field Engineering teams to ensure resources align with customer requirements

Drive project methodology

and key performance metrics, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Monitor project progress

and proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact delivery

Documentation & Technical Support

Prepare comprehensive technical documents

including operation and maintenance manuals, standard operating procedures, and project documentation

Manage design specifications and costing matrices

to support accurate cost and time estimates for commercial proposals

Develop technical proposals

for new products and services by drawing on content from previous projects and proposals

Create and maintain process documentation

to establish best practice standards across the team

Stakeholder Communication

Serve as a key communication point

between Project Engineers, customers, and internal teams

Monitor and resolve customer queries

proactively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Facilitate effective collaboration

across multiple teams to ensure technical feasibility aligns with customer expectations

While you may not be an engineer yourself, you have technical aptitude and enjoy working in a technical environment.

Meticulous attention to detail

Strong IT literacy

with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

GCSE level education

or equivalent with strong numeracy and written communication skills

Problem-solving ability

with practical approach to resolving issues efficiently and effectively

Customer-focused mindset

with understanding of customer requirements and commitment to service excellence

Full UK driving licence

(occasional UK travel required)

Highly Desirable

Project management qualification (Prince2 Foundation, APM, or equivalent) IOSH Working Safely or similar health & safety qualification Experience in technical sales support or customer-facing technical roles Engineering or technical background with understanding of engineering principles Functional proficiency in 2D CAD software Ability to interpret Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and technical schematics Experience in engineering, construction, or energy sectors
