Main Purpose





We currently have one open role live across multiple locations, the successful candidate will be able to Lead and manage a team of project engineers, ensure effective delivery of all Projects within region ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, including personally managing key projects within the region.




Key Responsibilities






General


To support the HOP with business planning and objective setting with regard the management of projects for Bender UK.
Regular communication with HOP on project management in the region in order to assist the Operations Director with the management of the Operations Function. Implementing/documenting process improvements and automation. Producing updates on project delivery to the HOP to support the monitoring of KPI's. Promoting cross functional working and demonstrating a one team approach. Promoting and embedding company strategy, vision and spirit within team Project Delivery Managing key projects within region. Delegating workload and allocating projects to the Project Engineers. Supporting Project Engineers to deal with any situations that arise during the management of projects, negotiation with customers/ suppliers in regards to resolving conflict, scope deviations and project delivery issues, making decisions as necessary and escalating when appropriate. Liaising with BUK Sales teams providing feedback on deviations from the quotation sustained during the completion of projects. Completing projects effectively and ensuring that project reviews (wash-ups), are undertaken

Team Management


To lead and develop a high performing team through clear communication and articulation of the business goals, being visible and accessible.
Providing performance feedback, coaching and mentoring to manage talent. Ensure each member of the team has a personal development plan and has access to appropriate training and development. Ensure team and individual development to optimise performance and commitment through regular 121's and an annual appraisal. Future planning and talent management within team, providing coaching and direction where required

Experience & Qualifications





Must be working towards or have team management qualifications or proven experience of managing and building a successful team Experience of leadership, mentoring, performance management and team building is essential Project management experience is desirable Experience within the electrical industry, electrical qualifications and background is required Minimum of 5 years construction or site experience Experience of using CRM systems and processes (preferably Salesforce) Experience of using MS 365 & Office packages
