Are you passionate about shaping the future of infrastructure, technology, and energy through project financing? ING is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Transaction Management (TM) team as an Associate



This is a dynamic front-office role within ING's Transaction Management team, where you'll be at the centre of executing complex project finance transactions across Infrastructure, TMT, and Energy sectors. You'll work closely with client-facing teams and deal principals to support origination efforts and take ownership of the execution process from structuring to closing.



Candidate Profile:



Education & Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field



Desirable

CFA qualification



Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with exposure to either Infrastructure, Energy or TMT sectors.

Strong credit analysis and financial modelling skills

Familiarity with loan documentation and deal execution processes

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Strong communication and presentation skills

Global mindset and eagerness to learn across sectors



Your responsibilities will include:



Supporting origination efforts by preparing financial models, marketing materials, and term sheets

Running internal risk rating and loan pricing models to assess transaction viability

Preparing and processing credit approval packages and coordinating with internal stakeholders

Managing transaction execution, including documentation, conditions precedent, and closing processes

Participating in client meetings and due diligence activities

Analysing transaction structures and providing recommendations on optimal financing solutions

Collaborating across teams including Credit Risk, Legal, and Loan Operations

Coaching junior colleagues and contributing to team development
