Project Implementation Manager - Social Care & Housing Directorate



We are seeking an experienced

Project Implementation Manager

to lead the planning, management, and successful delivery of capital projects within our Social Care Strategic Commissioning Plan (2025-2035). This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of social care services and infrastructure across the region.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the end-to-end delivery of assigned capital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Establish and maintain robust frameworks for project governance, scheduling, quality assurance, and risk management. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including health boards, registered social landlords, and voluntary sector partners. Prepare funding applications and business cases using the Five Case Model. Monitor project performance, budgets, and compliance, reporting to governance boards and senior leadership.

About You:



Educated to degree level in a relevant field, with substantial experience in project management within social care, health, or housing. Proven track record of delivering complex projects from inception to completion. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools; Prince2 or equivalent qualification preferred. Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. High level of digital competence and proficiency in project management systems.
