Our Sat Connect IC business unit, a division of our Satellite Systems business is a leading provider of ASICs, software, multibeam electronically steered antennas, and complete systems for communication satellites, as well as ground and airborne terminals. Role:




Project Lead - Test Verification and validation

will be responsible for design, integration and commissioning of specialized complex electronic test equipment for testing mixed signal (Digital & RF) electronic products used in satellites and other space-based systems. The chosen candidate will work closely with Hardware and software and embedded designer, and will lead a product integration team developing complex test systems and validating flight equipment. The responsibilities include tasks management, resource planning as well as other day-to-day activities to ensure effective team performance and adherence to schedule and budget. The dynamic work environment will allow for exposure to many facets of electronic product development.


Responsibilities




Lead the design of complex test equipment in an aerospace environment Study system architecture and system requirements and take part in a test plan to address these requirements in collaboration with system engineering and other teams Understand test and validation requirements and architect test methodologies that minimize cost Define, write and execute test procedures for new systems and features Design and assemble custom test rack solutions, including environmental test fixtures, instrumentation, harnesses, etc. Develop continuous integration (CI/CD) frameworks and test sequences Develop experimental techniques to contribute to the development of new technologies Data analysis and post processing of data collected Compilation of regular Test execution summary report with metrics Plan the team's work to meet required schedule and budget objectives

Qualifications




Engineering degree and minimum 10 years of experience in testing electronic systems, high-speed digital communications (20 GHz+), and RF communications Team leadership experience of minimum 3 years Familiarity with ASICs, SERDES and/or DVB standards Familiarity with the Agile methodology Familiarity with qualification strategies for development of space flight electronics, or high-reliability systems Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware irregularities Ability to interpret electrical schematics Experience with laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscope, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, arbitrary waveform generator, SPI bus analyzer, JTAG interface, etc. The ideal candidate would be a multidisciplinary, pro-active, enthusiastic, and a result-oriented team player
