About the Hope Haven Project



Hope Haven is part of a national 24/7 mental health provision pilot funded by NHS England, designed to improve access to crisis and preventative mental health support across the UK. Spear heading the national project in West Cumbria- Hope Haven provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where individuals can receive tailored mental health and wellbeing support. The project brings together NHS services, local authorities, and community partners--including iCan Wellbeing to deliver recovery-focused interventions, emotional support, and pathways to long-term wellbeing.

The iCan strand of the project focuses on empowerment, prevention, and sustainable healthy living through wellbeing workshops- including Ikigai, and exercise sessions including bellicon, chair based exercise and walking rugby.

About the Role



We are seeking a self-motivated, resilient, and compassionate Project Lead to take a prime role in delivering and developing the iCan element of the Hope Haven project. You will oversee all aspects of the project's delivery, from staff supervision and data reporting to stakeholder engagement and sustainability planning. You will be responsible for line managing the Project Facilitator(s), ensuring that delivery is consistent, person-centred, and aligned with iCan's wellbeing ethos. This is a rewarding and varied role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can work independently, and is passionate about improving mental health outcomes across West Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities



Project Leadership & Delivery



- Lead the iCan component of the Hope Haven project with enthusiasm, initiative, and strategic oversight- helping to run the current provision and plan for its future.

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services that meet project objectives and targets.

- Act as the key link between the Hope Haven team, iCan senior management, and external partners.

- Attend all relevant meetings and represent iCan with professionalism and insight.

Monitoring, Reporting & Evaluation



- Produce clear and accurate progress reports for NHS England, project partners, and iCan senior management.

- Manage and collaborate into all reporting systems including high-level data sets, Upshot reporting, infographics, and monthly/yearly reports.

- Use data to evidence impact, inform development, and support continuous improvement.

Staff Management & Team Support



-Supervise and support the Project Facilitator(s), providing leadership, direction, and reflective supervision.

- Foster a supportive and accountable team culture focused on wellbeing, collaboration, and performance.

- Plan and host regular team meetings and review sessions.

- Monitor your own and your team's wellbeing, escalating any concerns appropriately to senior management.

Beneficiary Support & Case Management



- Work directly with beneficiaries under the project's method when needed

- Deliver and support exercise and wellbeing classes when needed.

Sustainability & Growth



- Play a key role in ensuring the sustainability and long-term growth of the Hope Haven project and the iCan Wellbeing brand.

- Identify opportunities for innovation, improvement, and potential future funding.

- Monitor project budgets and expenditure, liaising with senior management

- ensure efficient use of resources.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 31,200.00 per year
