We are looking for a Project Lead to join our team.



You will be responsible for the delivery of all workplace, building, and facilities-related projects across the UK estate. This includes major capital works, small FM and lifecycle projects, planned and reactive repairs and HS-driven works.



Operating as a central delivery expert, the Projects Lead ensures that all works are scoped, procured, and delivered to meet time, cost, quality, and compliance requirements. The role has a strong focus on budget planning, forecasting, business case preparation, and in-year financial tracking, and works within established procurement guidelines to ensure value for money.



You will work in close partnership with Business Leads, the Workplace leads, wider enabling partners (e.g. Finance, HR, Tech, Legal, Procurement, Student Experience) to ensure alignment with central policies, sustainability goals, and operational needs.

What you'll bring to the role



Degree or equivalent in construction, engineering, architecture, or project management. Extensive experience delivering capital works and FM-related projects in operational environments. Strong knowledge of CDM, HS, and UK building regulations. Proven track record of managing budgets, business cases, and procurement processes. Experience working with multidisciplinary delivery teams and external contractors. Project management qualification desirable. Membership of RICS, CIOB, or equivalent professional body advantageous.
