We're currently recruiting for a Project Leader (Delivery) role within the Distribution Licence Programmes business unit of SP Energy Networks. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing team focused on delivering proactive low-voltage (LV) network modernisation schemes across the SPD licence area.What You'll Be Doing
You'll lead, mentor and coach the Proactive LCT Team, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of LV services including mains reinforcement, service unlooping, and cut-out upgrades. These works are identified through the ED2 EJP justification paper and delivered in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a multi-disciplined team (approx. 3-7 staff) delivering high-volume, low-value LV service activities
Oversee project delivery from design through to execution, working closely with service partners, the LP design house, and SPEN commercial teams
Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant standards
Manage budgets up to 15m, ensuring cost control and timely scheme closures
Support short (6-12 week) and medium (3-12 month) planning cycles to meet business deliverables
Drive performance against key targets including customer satisfaction, time to connect, and complaint management
Ensure accurate data capture and customer record maintenance in corporate systems
Foster strong relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes
What You'll BringMinimum of 2 years' team management experience
Proven ability to lead and develop teams to deliver business outputs
Strong stakeholder and customer engagement skills
Knowledge of construction and maintenance standards, HSE legislation, and corporate systems
Experience managing projects and workflows on CRM
Financial awareness including budget management and SAP PO raising
SVQ/NVQ qualification or equivalent experience in electricity networks
Experience within the construction and operations of electricity networks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
