The project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.

THE ROLE

Reports to the Project Director and management of all Logistics & Security matters on Construction Development sites.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

\xc2\xb7Project Lead and focal for the overall delivery of Logistics and Security functions on the Programme.

\xc2\xb7Develop, monitor and update the Project Logistics Management Plan and the Site Security Management Plan

\xc2\xb7Coordinates directly with Client Delivery and Infra Teams on Logistics matters and strategy

\xc2\xb7Line Manager for all Logistics and Security managers and staff

  • Interface within the Operations and Logistics & Asset Management Team to ensure coordination and implementation of logistics works is in line with and supports the overall allocated project deliverables
  • Lead Interface with adjacent development Site Wide Logistics Team to develop joint plans for the mutual benefit of both sites
  • Review and approve Traffic Management Plans
  • Review and approve Security Plans
\xc2\xb7Supervise the logistics supply contractors

\xc2\xb7Ensure that Contractors\xe2\x80\x99 logistics management plans are in line with the requirements of the Project Logistics Management Plan

\xc2\xb7Support the Construction Supervisors and Contractors to resolve security and logistics issues.

\xc2\xb7Liaise strongly with the Engineering Team to assist in the development of design solutions that promote constructability and logistical requirements

\xc2\xb7Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the construction supervisors and the contractors, including on QHS&E requirements.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

\xc2\xb7BSc construction management, engineering, Logistics, architecture or equivalent.

\xc2\xb7Member of a Professional Body ie Chartered Member of Logistics & Transport

\xc2\xb7Minimum 20 years overall experience in Construction Logistics and Security

\xc2\xb7Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role

\xc2\xb7Minimum 5 years of working experience in Middle east

\xc2\xb7Knowledge of operational aspects of civil & infrastructure projects including Logistics planning. Access/egress haul routes, traffic management plans, allocation of land for stakeholders, roads, bridges and utilities with experience in construction management and practice
  • Deep experience managing Construction Supervision Cconsultants and Logistics and Security Ccontractors \xe2\x80\x93
  • A good understanding of the procurement tendering process
  • User of MS Office
  • Fluency in English language both written and spoken
