We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager Contractor to contribute to an AI Transformation Programme with a major local government client using PRINCE2 Agile SCRUM methodologies. You'll coordinate delivery teams, manage project governance, and ensure successful implementation of our GenAI platforms while maintaining strong client relationships.



As a Project Manager for a major local government clients Transformation Programme, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of AI solutions including SMART Copilot solutions over multiple channels including web, phone and e-mail. This high-profile programme represents a significant opportunity to showcase ICS.AI's capabilities in transforming local government services.



To succeed within the role, Project Managers should have:

A delivery focused commercial outlook Experience of implementing AI or software solutions Strong understanding of PRINCE2 Agile SCRUM methodologies Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams within a Programme Manage project budgets, resourcing, risk management and stakeholder engagement Experience of providing consultancy and gathering solution requirements


The primary duties will include, but not be limited to:

Management of client expectations Coordination of technical implementation teams for projects and solutions Client Communications and reporting Budget Management, tracking and reporting Stakeholder management across multiple council departments Change management planning and execution


As a Project Manager, you are required to deliver Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Budget Management, Change Management and Resource Management, Benefits Realisation, Business Intelligence and Renewal management. This is based upon excellent communication, organisational and documentation skills.



Project Managers are required to utilise the relevant company systems to manage programmes, projects and resourcing.



When representing the company to customers through all forms of communication (including documentation, e-mails, calls/conferences and site visits) Project Managers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.



Accountabilities:

Act as the primary point of contact with major clients during project delivery Representation of the company on Project Steering Groups Management of Project Management teams & Stakeholders, both internal and external Management of all elements of the PRINCE2 Agile project management lifecycle Accountability for project quality managed through test plans, governance reviews and risk management Accountability for raising and updating risks and issues with priorities and mitigations/resolutions Accountability of project budgets through budget management and project change management Reporting of project performance through regular Highlight reports Effective resource planning to ensure maximum billable resource allocation Support Projects Team with PMO continuous improvement Additional duties as specified by ICS.AI
