Project Manager - Facades / Building Envelope

Project Manager

to oversee the successful delivery of external envelope projects across Manchester and the North West, on behalf of a large waterproofing & building envelope contractor, looking to expand their building envelope division.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring quality, safety, and programme delivery are achieved. Working closely with design, commercial, and site teams, you'll be a key figure in maintaining client relationships and driving excellence across multiple facade systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full project lifecycle - from planning and procurement to completion. Oversee installation of facade systems including

rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, composite panelling, and industrial sheeting

. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to maintain clear communication throughout. Lead site teams and subcontractors, enforcing health & safety and quality standards. Produce and manage project documentation, programmes, and progress reports.

About You

Proven experience as a

Project Manager

within the

facades or building envelope

sector. Background in one or more systems: rainscreen, curtain walling, composite panels, or industrial sheeting*.
Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding of facade systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across the North West region.
