Job description


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our organisation, playing a key role in the delivery of strategic projects and service reviews. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic local authority that is committed to innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

As part of the Project Management Office, the successful candidate will support the delivery of policy and service-related projects across the organisation. This role will involve managing projects, ensuring benefit realisation, and conducting service reviews to support informed decision-making at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency Support the development and implementation of policy-driven initiatives Analyse data and present findings to senior decision-makers to inform strategic direction Foster collaboration across departments to drive innovation and best practices Ensure high-quality reporting and compliance with organisational governance processes Delivering project on time and within budgets

Person Specification:
Demonstrable experience in project management, supported by a relevant qualification Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and methodical approach A commitment to innovation and the ability to drive efficiency improvements Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of local government operations
