Your role

As a Project Manager, you'll take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple construction and infrastructure projects, often running simultaneously. You'll ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards - all while supporting the RNLI's lifesaving goals.

Your work will span the full project lifecycle, from scoping and procurement through to handover and benefits realisation. You'll manage contractors and consultants, maintain cost and risk management processes, and ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and other relevant regulations.

The RNLI operates its lifesaving service around the coast in the UK and Ireland and there is a requirement for the Project Manager to undertake travel throughout these areas dependant on project locations.

About you

We're looking for someone with:

A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Studies, or equivalent experience. A recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM). Proven success in leading and delivering complex construction or infrastructure projects, ideally with budgets of 1m+. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and inspire others. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence to engage at all levels, including executive. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

It would also be an advantage if you are Chartered or Incorporated with a professional body such as RICS, CIOB, ICE, or working towards this.
