This is a 12-month contract position. The primary purpose is to drive the delivery of Leo Cancer Care products to the market. As the product is comprised of multiple key sub-systems the role of the project manager will be to co-ordinate the development and delivery across the entire product range.
Working with a cross-functional team, the project manager will be responsible for driving the project(s) according to agreed schedule, and providing updates on progress and tracking against budget and project milestones.
Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements:
At least 5 years' experience as a project manager, preferably in the medical device sector
Hold a recognised Project Manager qualification / certification
Experience with authoring, reviewing & updating project documentation
Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills
A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient use of software tools such as Microsoft packages, Smartsheets & CodeBeamer
Experience working in a start-up environment preferred
Experience managing a remote team of people preferred
Key responsibilities:
Own the schedule and timeline for the delivery of Leo Cancer Care products
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
Ensure that Leo Cancer Care's product are developed and delivered on time & budget
Drive quality and process implementation according to Leo's medical device quality system
Work closely with the engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to maintain & optimise the project schedule.
Identify, track and mitigate project risks.
Generate project status updates and present them to key stakeholders
Manage the relationship with key development partners across product sub-systems
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Use and continually develop leadership skills
Identify key points of integration and milestones for the engineering team
Summarise project deliverables and key dates to senior management
